Terms of Service

Effective date: October 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ancient Gate mobile game (the "Game"), provided by the developer of Ancient Gate ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Purchases through the App Store

All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and are governed by Apple's payment terms and rules. We do not process your payments directly.

Consumable items

Gold, standard chest keys and premium keys are consumable virtual items. They have no real-money value, are not redeemable for cash or exchangeable outside the Game, and are generally consumed when used.

Dragonlord (non-consumable)

Dragonlord is a non-consumable, permanent entitlement linked to your Apple account. It can be restored on supported devices using Apple's restore purchase mechanisms.

Subscriptions: Premium Monthly and Dragon Premium

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal, as per Apple's rules.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account subscription settings.
  • Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules and policies.

3. Changes to the Game

We may change virtual items, game balance, features, stages and pricing over time. Purchased entitlements will be respected as required by applicable law and platform rules.

4. Rewarded ads

Watching rewarded ads is entirely optional. Where applicable, rewards are granted only after the ad provider confirms that the ad was completed.

5. Fair play

You agree not to:

  • cheat, use exploits, bots or unauthorised third-party tools;
  • tamper with or modify the Game, its data or purchase systems;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Game, except where this restriction is not permitted by law;
  • commit fraud or abuse, including purchase or ad-reward fraud.

6. Disclaimer

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or virtual items, arising from your use of the Game. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law, including for intent or gross negligence.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access to features of the Game if you breach these Terms, including in cases of cheating, fraud or abuse. This does not override any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you live, and nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
